Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT) this week launched its bid for Green Campus status for its two Galway city campuses, with the official signing of an agreement between An Taisce and GMIT at the Institute’s inaugural Green Campus & Energy Awareness Open Day.

Professor John Fitzgerald of the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI) will deliver his annual lecture on the Irish economy to GMIT Business students in GMIT’s Galway campus on Tuesday, 18 October at 2pm in Room 1000. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
