VOLUNTEERING

GMIT encourages students and staff to get involved in voluntary activities that benefit the local community and environment, from local fund-raising activities, to international relief efforts.   Tens of thousands of euro have been raised over the years for a wide variety of charities including Console, Alan Kerins African Projects, Serve, Jigsaw, Habitat for Humanity, Cancer Care West and Cope Galway.
