We provide a range of supports and services for those applying to GMIT, and for students attending full-time and part-time courses in the Institute.
The Access and Disability Office welcomes students with Disabilities and Specific Learning Difficulties. Below are the ways which students may avail of our services, and more information about what we provide.
Access Scholarship Scheme
GMIT offers ten scholarships to the value of Euro 5,000 each to students entering GMIT from post-primary schools in Galway, Mayo and Roscommon. The scholarships are provided in increments over the duration of the programmes of study.
Supports and Services for Members of the Traveller Community or Other Ethnic Minority Groups
Members of the Traveller Community or other Ethnic Minorities or support workers or resource teachers should contact the Access Office.

The Junior Achievement Programme involves schools from Co Galway and Co Mayo and is focused on assisting young individuals realise their full potential.
