New Programme in School of Humanities
The new Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Film and Documentary is designed to provide students with knowledge of the history, theory and practical workings of documentary- and film-making.

Note: This programme replaces the current Level 7 Bachelor of Arts in Film & Television.

DIRECT APPLICATION NOTICES
Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Services and Automation Engineering (Level 7) - Advanced Entry to Stage 2
The programme is targeted at suitably qualified electrical apprentices for direct entry to the second year.
Applications are invited from holders of the Advanced Craft Certificate (or Phase 6 successfully completed) - FETAC Level 6/The National Craft Certificate/Senior Trades Certificate in Electrical or an equivalent qualification.
The programme qualifies for the Third Level Training Funding and Back to Education Allowance.
The Closing Date for receipt of completed applications is 1st April, 2012.

Opportunities at Letterfrack for Progression for Holders of Advanced FETAC AwardsGMIT, Letterfrack is seeking applications from holders of a pass FETAC Level 6 Award in specialised and related areas of study in furniture design and from holders of the National Craft Certificate/FETAC Level 6 Advanced Certificate in the trades of Cabinetmaking, Carpentry, and Joinery for direct entry to year two of the Bachelor of Science (Ordinary) in Furniture Design and Manufacture and the Bachelor of Science (Ordinary) in Furniture and Wood Technology.
A small quota of places is available.
