ACCA PROFESSIONAL LEVEL


GMIT offers a range of accounting programmes from technician level through to post-graduate level, and now offers you the chance to complete the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) finals here in GMIT.  The ACCA is recognised as the largest and fastest-growing global professional accountancy body with 571,000 students and members in 170 countries. Programme Structure
The following modules will be offered:

  • P1: Professional Accountant

  • P2: Corporate Reporting

  • P3: Business Analysis

  • P6: Advanced Taxation

  • P7: Advanced Audit and Assurance

Semester 1 (10 weeks between September to December)

Governance, Risks and Ethics (P1) Tuesdays 1 pm – 4 pm
  Wednesdays 9 am – 12 noon
  Fridays 1 pm – 4 pm
Corporate Reporting (P2) Tuesdays 9 am – 12 noon
  Wednesdays 1 pm – 4 pm
  Fridays 9 am – 12 noon

Semester 2 (13 weeks between January to May)

Business Analysis (P3) Mondays 2 pm – 5 pm
  Thursdays 9 am – 11 am
  Fridays 1 pm – 3 pm
Advanced Taxation (P6) Mondays 11 am – 1 pm
  Tuesdays 9 am – 12 noon
  Thursdays 2 pm – 4 pm
Advanced Audit & Assurance (P7) Tuesdays 1 pm – 3 pm
  Thursdays 11 am  – 1 pm
  Fridays 9 am – 12 noon

Each course is offered on the condition of adequate enrolments and the Institute reserves the right to cancel or discontinue any course because of low enrolments or for other reasons deemed sufficient by the Institute.
