GMIT offers a range of accounting programmes from technician level through to post-graduate level, and now offers you the chance to complete the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) finals here in GMIT. The ACCA is recognised as the largest and fastest-growing global professional accountancy body with 493,500 students and members in 170 countries. ACCA Ireland has over 20,000 students and members. Entry Requirements Students who have previously completed, or have been exempted from, the ACCA Fundamental Level exams are eligible to apply for this programme. It is the responsibility of all students to register for examinations independently with the ACCA. Students should also apply directly to the ACCA for any exemptions. Students must have applied to the ACCA by the end of July for December examinations and by the end of December for Summer examinations. ACCA will not accept applications after this date. Check the ACCA website for more details Closing Date Late applications may be considered subject to places being available. Additional Information Classes will commence on 13th September 2010.
