What can I study in the School of Business?
We offer a wide range of programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Programmes cover all aspects of business including accountancy, economics, project management, marketing, information systems management, human resource management and agri-business.

Graduates of the School of Business are highly employable and work in a variety of roles throughout the business arena:

  • Management and/or administrative positions

  • Marketing

  • Information Technology

  • Working in Ireland and/or working abroad

  • Public Service

  • Finance and Banking

  • Agri-business

GMIT's School of Business is one of the largest schools in the country with close links to industrial, commercial, private sector services, public sector organisations and all relevant professional bodies at local, regional and national levels. The School has several student exchange courses in operation with similar educational institutions in Germany, France, The Netherlands, Spain, and the United States.

How do I enter the School of Business?
To be admitted to the first year of any any of the following programmes, applicants must initially apply through the CAO:
