The Moore Library
The Moore Library on the Castlebar campus provides a full range of information services, including an extensive collection of published works, access to online resources, and special collections. Students have access to all books in the five GMIT campus libraries, and other third-level libraries. Wifi is available throughout the library for staff and students.
The library extends over three floors. The ground floor includes the circulation desk, staff offices, book stacks and a reading area. It also has a motorised computer workstation for users with specific physical needs. The second floor contains 12 computer workstations, printing and photocopying facilities, book stacks and a reading area.
The top floor contains the 20,000 volume Enda McDonogh collection , donated to the school in 2009. Professor McDonogh's expertise and experience are reflected in the diversity of the collection. The books and journals cover the fields of religion, sociology, psychology, philosophy, international relations, politics, and literature.
