APPLYING FOR A PARKING PERMIT ONLINE at GMIT Castlebar (Yearly)

Choose Site Name (Step 1 of 5), select GMIT Castlebar from the Site Name drop down box, then Permit Type (Staff or Student) and click Next button

Permit Details (Step 2 of 5), complete all fields on this page and you must include a valid email address. If there are any errors on the page it will be highlighted after you hit Next button.

Confirmation and payment (Step 3 of 5) – details what you have completed on previous page. If you are satisfied that all is correct tick “Confirm details and accept terms of parking” and click on Confirm Details button. If not, click on Back button to correct.

Payment Information (Step 4 of 5) – at this stage you will be given a Permit ID Number (e.g. your order number is 6966). Click on “Continue on to pay for your permit” button which will take you to a secure AIB payments site.

Enter your details as per your card (Laser, Visa or Mastercard only) and then hit Pay Now button. The processing of your card should take 10-15 seconds as it validates your card. Once validated you will be taken to a confirmation page which will detail order number and authorisation codes. Please print this page for your records and you should also receive an e-mail from APCOA within 48 hours outlining the next steps to collect permit. Please have your insurance details (for both cars if you have two registrations on the one permit) and proof of your ID (payslip or photo ID) with you when you collect your permit. You will need your insurance policy sheet, not just the disc, as you must confirm that you are insured to drive the car.

Permits will be delivered to the campus and you will be notified when they are ready for pickup.
