Entry Requirements

• From Registered Nurses who have successfully completed the Certificate in Science in Nursing (Special Purpose Award) at GMIT, Castlebar

• Applications will be considered from Registered Nurses who hold a Diploma in Nursing or its equivalent

Other Essential Information
It is advisable that prior to attending the programme students have a working knowledge of 'Word' IT skills, competent academic writing skills, familiarity with accessing reading material through a library and awareness that the programme requires attendance and significant study time.

VETTING REQUIREMENT
All places are offered on this programme subject to satisfactory Garda vetting clearance.

Fees
This Programme may not be included in the Department of Health and Children’s Fee initiative. Currently the fee for the programme is €3442 which is reviewed annually. It is each candidate’s responsibility to seek clarification from his/her employer regarding fee support.

An Bord Altranais PIN will be required at application.
