Your Place - Your Future : GMIT Montage

BACHELOR OF ENGINEERING IN OPERATIONS ENGINEERING

Why Study Operations Engineering at GMIT?
Operations Engineers are the people who manage and introduce change in organisations.  We are 'change Agents'.
  • We are the people who invent and design more efficient systems.

  • We introduce new technologies.

  • We design new ways of doing business.

  • We constantly improve on what already exists.

  • We strive to be innovative in the future.

The programme was designed to develop engineers that will be ‘change agents’ for high value added manufacturing and internationally traded services companies.

The workload is balanced between roughly 50% formal lectures and 50% laboratories and workshop practice.  A typical week has anything from 27 to 30 hours of instruction.  Students learn how to work together in teams to accomplished specified goals and targets.
