Software and Electronic Engineering student - Louise Ni Chongaile
I chose to study Computer and Electronic Engineering as I was curious about the technology of the world we live in and how it works.
The course content is taught in stages, developing your knowledge from first year onwards. Project is my favourite module. I am mentored you use the skills learnt from classes to build and create.
In third year, encouraged by my lecturer, GMIT gave me the opportunity to enter the Intel Women in Technology Competition for which I won an award.
I have developed many skills including technical skills, problem solving skills and a good work ethic all of which give me better opportunities and choices for the future.
