Entry Requirements: The general minimum Leaving Certificate entry requirement is a Grade O6/H7 or better in six Leaving Certificate subjects including English or Irish and Mathematics, two of which must be passed in higher level papers at Grade H5 or higher.

Essential Information: 

GMIT Mayo was the first campus in the country to achieve the Green Flag for biodiversity, awarded by An Taisce on behalf of the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE).

Students of the History & Geography programme undertake fieldtrips, local and nationally.  They also have the option of participating in fieldtrips abroad.  Previous destinations include Rome, Vienna and Berlin.

Students have the option of studying abroad for a semester or a full academic year.
