| Diploma in Quality Management - Part 1 Entry Requirements: Successful completion of the Quality Assurance (Foundation) course qualifies for entry to the Diploma in Quality Management (Part 1). or Certificate in Quality Assurance (City & Guilds 7430) or an equivalent qualification. An equivalent qualification could be a pass in a Statistical Quality Control subject from a Certificate / Diploma / Degree course from a third level Institute or University. The Course Director will make the decision on the suitability of prior statistical training of an applicant. Aims and Objectives: · To give students an understanding of general management principles and of how quality is managed in a manufacturing or service organisation. · To explain the methodology of quality improvement, in particular the various tools and techniques for analysis. · To carry out a project / assignment on a relevant aspect of quality assurance.
