Introduction to Modern Home Baking

Aim of Course: This course provides a broad introduction to modern home baking principles and practice.   Ideal for anyone who wants to bake their own bread and confectionary.

Entry Requirements:  None

Content:

· Scones, brown bread and various cakes

· Various types of breads

· Afternoon tea pastries

· Various Gateau

· Choux Paste products

Note:

This is a practical class where participants will produce the products in a modern pastry kitchen. White coats and head cover will be supplied by the college.

Fee:   €150

Duration: One evening a week for 6 weeks from 7pm - 9.30pm
