Interior Design

Who this course is for? The course is ideal for those about to buy or build their own home or those with a flair or interest in the subject.

Content:

This course covers all aspects of interiors: Colour Fabrics Lighting Flooring Layout and Display.   It guides each individual towards their own creativity. The course looks at the often competing needs of style, comfort, function and budget. Some of the classes are practical; the class dealing with colour aims to give the individual greater confidence to choose their own colour schemes whilst also giving many tips on how to avoid making common mistakes. The class covering fabric covers different curtain styles and helps one to choose curtain headings to best suit the style of the house.

There is normally an outing to some furniture shops to see and discuss the different styles, colours and textures of different furniture. Other classes are more theoretical discussing and advising on different types of flooring and lighting and how to make practical yet stylish choices.
