GMIT Registrar Michael Hannon says it is fantastic to see the large numbers obtaining higher education awards from Higher Certificates to Doctorate level.

“Third-level education is the best chance young people and indeed this country has of beating the recession. Research shows that graduates with a third-level qualification are more employable and more entrepreneurial.  The skills and competencies gained are adaptable and transferable and have proven to be what employers are looking for.”
