The Background to Peer Assisted Learning/Peer Assisted Study Sessions

Following a review of Phase 4 of the PAL programme it has been decided to rename the PAL programme to PASS (Peer Assisted Study Sessions). For the interim the PAL programme will be known as PAL/PASS.

GMIT's Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) programme has consulted with the PAL Project team in Bournemouth University (BU) (PDF, 26KB) and the PASS Programme in Manchester University.

With the support of SIF funding from the HEA, GMIT and AIT have been working in partnership in developing rolling out and evaluating a PAL Programme that works best for the IOT Sector in Ireland.
