PAL/PASS Leadership

PAL/PASS Leaders encourage students to support each other and to learn co-operatively.

If you are a registered second, third, or fourth year student at GMIT you can apply to become a PAL Leader.

What rewards do PAL/PASS Leaders receive?

Do PAL/PASS Leaders receive training?
Yes. Every PAL/PASS Leader must attend a two-day training programme, where they will be provided with a copy of the GMIT PAL/PASS Leader Handbook.

Do PAL/PASS Leaders interact with first years outside PAL/PASS Sessions?
Yes. We would encourage all PAL/PASS Leaders to use GMIT's Learnonline facility to communicate with their PAL/PASS group outside the officially timetabled sessions.
