Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting

The Post-Graduate Diploma in Accounting (PDA) which has been running in GMIT since 2010 is designed to fast-track graduates who wish to pursue careers in accountancy or taxation. It is a “conversion programme” aimed at non-accounting graduates from disciplines such as arts, computers, education, engineering, and science. Business or commerce graduates, who have not majored in accountancy, may also find the programme beneficial.

ACCA Professional Level

The ACCA Professional Level programme offers tuition for the final level ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) examinations. ACCA is recognised as the largest and fastest-growing global professional accountancy body with 571,000 students and members in 170 countries. ACCA Ireland has over 20,000 students and members. This programme allows students to complete their final ACCA examinations on a full-time basis prior to commencing the required practical experience. Modules are also available on an individual basis.

Bachelor of Business (Honours) in Accounting
