GMIT International Cook Serve Challenge

 

The GMIT International Cook Serve Competition, a two-day event, showcased the kitchen and restaurant skills of full-time students in Years 1 and  2 of their primary culinary/hospitality qualification.

In addition to the Cook Serve Competition, GMIT College of Tourism & Arts organised an exciting package of food trails, tastings and master classes as part of the event.

GMIT International CookServe Challenge showcased the highest standards in international hospitality services.

GMIT Eurocatering website

"Eurocatering", a free website that provides training in 12 languages for the hospitality sector, and was developed in conjunction with GMIT, has been placed #30 in the top 100 Language Industry Awards 2017!

On Sunday, 2nd April, 2017, staff from GMIT College of Tourism and Arts, under the auspices of  “The FoodieForum”, partnered with Chef Network, the HSE and local food producers from the Galway area to host a “SOW, GROW, EAT” event for families at The Claregalway Castle Spring Garden Fair.
