Certificate in Culinary Arts and Professional Cookery (Springboard)

The course will introduce students to the culinary skills required to find immediate work as a Commis Chefs in the culinary sector.

Students will develop a deep understanding of culinary techniques, theory and practice over 12 weeks, while attending two and a half days of lectures per week.

The course also includes a 400 hour industry work placement. 

In addition, this course will provide the building blocks of future engagement on other culinary programmes.

Bachelor of Business (Honours) in Culinary Arts Management

The primary aim of this one-year add-on honours degree is to allow students to develop their cognitive, creative and business acumen in their chosen career path of Culinary Arts. The specialised subjects are all interlinked, designed to create a student with an entrepreneurial orientation. Students will critically apply the principles of the product development to create new business ideas and will be given a unique opportunity to develop a meaningful business plan related to these business ideas.

Bachelor of Arts in Culinary Arts

To be a leader in the increasingly complex and ever-changing foodservice industry, you must be a skilled culinarian, an astute businessperson, and a creative trendsetter.

The primary aim of this part-time Culinary Arts degree is to develop higher technical and artistic knowledge amongst qualified chefs who are working in the industry. This programme is delivered over three years, one day per week.

Prospective students may also register for single modules with this programme, if they require.

Bachelor of Business in Culinary Arts Management

This course provides students with an insight into the diverse world of Culinary Arts with a strong emphasis on developing culinary skills. Food safety and nutrition modules form an integral part of learning in years one and two. Skills are further enhanced with a thirty-week (6 + months) work placement at the end of second year followed by students specialising in Pastry or Hot kitchen.

Higher Certificate in Culinary Arts - Professional Chef Programme

This nationally designed chef training course provides students with the key skills, knowledge & competencies required to work in the culinary arts sector.

Graduates from this programme can be found working in locations all over the world and have led culinary teams in establishments ranging from Michelin star restaurants to global catering companies.

This programme will help students to develop specialised culinary skills through the acquisition of artistic and technological competencies, within a realistic working environment.
