BACHELOR OF SCIENCE—UNDENOMINATED

Why study Science (Undenominated) at Level 7 or Level 8?
If you are unsure about which science discipline you wish to study, you may apply for the BSc (Ordinary) and BSc (Honours) un-denominated programmee. Year one involves the study of a range of science subjects, including Computing, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, Physics and Discovering Science.

At the end of year one, you have a choice of the following courses (subject to availability of places):

• Physics and Instrumentation

• Chemical and Pharmaceutical Science

• Applied Biology and Biopharmaceutical Science

• Applied Freshwater and Marine Biology

What else do I need to know?
It is desirable to have passed a science subject in the Leaving Certificate although this in NOT a compulsory requirement.
