STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS

We enjoy celebrating the success of our students in whatever realm they excel.  Here are some examples of student achievements:

Olivia McDevitt - winner of the AMLS President's Prize
Olivia McDevitt graduated from GMIT with an honours degree in Medical Science in 2009.  Her class was the first to graduate with this degree in GMIT.  Olivia's final year project was awarded the Academy of Medical Laboratory Science President's Prize for best project final year project, a significant accolade.

Joana Correia - presentation at the London International Youth Science Forum
In Joana Correia's 1st year in GMIT, she submitted a project to the Royal Dublin Society to present at the London  International Youth Science Forum.  She was successful and prepared a poster presentation for the Forum which took place in summer 2009.
