2D Studio Practice 3 (Painting/Photography/Printmaking)
Description
Research and Narrative: This module places emphasis on the development of research, process and conceptual skills within the disciplines of Painting, Photography and Printmaking. Emerging from a solid grounding in the practical aspects of these media, ideas and experimental approaches to image making are explored through a number of interlinked projects. Research methods and processes are integrated into studio projects as well as relevant lectures on contemporary art practice.

Identify a personal voice through an evolution of thinking and enquiry, experimentation and creativity in studio work.
Demonstrate an informed knowledge of the materials and processes related to two dimensional media with a development of skills and techniques.
