Further Education Students

You should apply for admission to Year One through the CAO if you hold a QQI Level 5 qualification, or a QQI Level 6 qualification that does not map to the course in ATU Galway-Mayo you want to apply for.

However, if you hold a QQI FET Level 6 major award, you are eligible for consideration to enter directly into the second year of related courses in ATU Galway-Mayo.

Transfer/Add-on Students

We accept direct transfer applications from suitable candidates who have completed or are undertaking study of a cognate course for entry to Years 2, 3 and 4 of our programmes through Online Admissions from early January until 31st May each year.

Applications received after this date will only be considered if places remain available.
