Commercial Design

Description

Commercial Design will focus on the application of skills and knowledge alongside the development of key competencies related to a designer’s role within commercial projects. Projects will be embedded in real-world scenarios with the option to link directly with an industry, institute or other body to solve present day problems.

The modules core focus will be contemporary commercial products and spaces coupled with key contextual studies to support a design only project. Learners will utilise diverse skills to problem solve within the medium of space and materials to solve present and future day challenges for commercial products and interiors. Areas of focus would include office, retail, education, health, hospitality and contract markets to name a few.
