Our software development programmes have a heavy emphasis on practical programming whereas the business/media-oriented programmes are more directed towards the development and deployment of computer-related solutions and products.

A bilingual guide book, the Galway County 1916 Rising Heritage Trail: Go Explore the Historic Sites & Memorials, will be officially launched in the Lady Gregory Hotel at 2 pm on Thursday 14 December 2017 by Cllr Eileen Mannion, Cathaoirleach of the County of Galway.

The National Museum of Ireland marked a number of successful collaborations with GMIT Mayo this year with the formal presentation of an academic achievement award to a graduate of the BA (Hons) in Heritage Studies.
