Contemporary Art Practices Digital Media

Description

An introductory module focussing upon the integration of digital media skills within the contemporary fine art environment. This module prepares learners for the use of digital media and preparing digital content, and builds on the Introduction to New Media module offered in Year 1. The learner will plan, capture and edit video, audio and still images. Learners will showcase their work in an ongoing ePortfolio.

  3. Demonstrate an awareness of the wide range of media processes which constitute contemporary artistic practice.

  5. Display clear evidence of the ability to balance imagination and technology in the development of innovative artistic outcomes.
