Description

Advanced digital editing, to gain fluency in practical skills and extensive and critical knowledge in the principles and aesthetics of the post production process.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Operate various industry standard digital editing software with technical fluency.

  2. Apply advanced image manipulation tools for fine-cutting, visual effects, colour grading, compositing and outputting for different platforms.

  3. Demonstrate the critical thinking needed for self-evaluation and to carry on self-initiated research in the area of post production.

  4. Implement an highly developed aesthetic understanding and formal analysis needed to shape fiction and non-fiction projects.

  5. Relate extensive knowledge of the art of editing through independent research.

  6. Apply cross-platform advanced skills and tools to function in a professional  post-production role.
