Joan Finnegan, a final year art & design honours degree student at CCAM, has won national recognition for her paintings of ringbuoys. Joan donated the images to the Irish Water Safety for their new postcard series.

Roger Sweeney, IWS, says "We are very grateful to Joan for donating the images for use in such a way as to make people aware that A Stolen Ringbuoy could mean A Stolen Life and to open up the water safety conversation to others in a way that is less traditional but by no means less colourful than the ringbuoys she loves to paint."
