Description

This module deals with the mathematical formulation and applications of electromagnetic theory.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Develop basic electromagnetic theory and mathematical models of electromagnetic waves in empty space and in media.

  2. Explain complex concepts and principles relating to electromagnetism.

  3. Select appropriate mathematical techniques to model electromagnetic systems.

  4. Analyse complex problems in electromagnetism and synthesise different areas of knowledge in the solution of such problems.
