This module aims to provide learners with a knowledge of employment legislation and its relevance to the hospitality sector.

  1. Analyse the employment legislation relevant to a manager in the hospitality sector

  2. Appraise contracts of employment and safety statements

  3. Examine equality in all areas of recruitment, selection, employment and termination of an employee

  4. Discriminate and elaborate on various legislative provisions relevant to employment in the workplace.
