Description

This module provides a broad introduction to the field of forensic psychology. This includes current understandings of the psychological underpinnings of crime and offending, the investigative process and the judicial system.

  2. Evaluate common sense understandings of deception detection and explain the current research findings in this area

  3. Illustrate how different approaches to interviewing witnesses and suspects can influence the outcomes of criminal investigations

  4. Apply current research findings to explain factors influencing decision-making processes in the courtroom
