Description

On this module learners will investigate how game art and level design acts as an essential mechanism in motivating gameplay. Learners will examine conceptual research, artwork and design for an original game design project

Learning Outcomes

  1. Design 2D and 3D characters and environments which exhibit the integration of game design principles.

  2. Evaluate what an intuitive game consists of and how the gameplay is structured.

  3. Identify the appropriate skills and technical abilities necessary for production planning and management of an innovative game design.

  4. Demonstrate gaming industry best practices to research and implement an original game design concept
