Description

In this module learners will undertake industry client briefs which will give an opportunity to work with current industry professionals, and gain an insight and experience into current industry trends and techniques. Learners will also study the psychology of gaming and its implications in terms of copyright and ethics

Learning Outcomes

  1. Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the historical, cultural, sociological and psychological aspects of animated games to engage with an audience.

  2. Synthesise the knowledge and practical application of game design to address an industry standard client brief

  3. Evaluate and understand the cultural and societal conventions and be cognisant of their ethical implications on game design

  4. Demonstrate advanced animation techniques and practises in the production of a diverse animation portfolio of industry-standard game assets.
