Description

The module has a practical dimension that students will find challenging but very rewarding. It is delivered through a combination of lectures, practicals, presentations from industry experts and site visits to tourism and hospitality operations.

  1. Undertake site visits to local hospitality operations including accomodation, food and beverage

  2. Gain basic practical skills in the area of hospitality

  3. Introduce students to practical skills required for work placement

  4. Learn from guest speakers on various aspects of running a hospitality business
