We want to help you develop your career, and have some exciting upskilling opportunities available at Galway International Hotel School, ATU Galway City, all beginning in September 2022.

Convert your current qualification to a higher level 
Have you previously studied at college and meant to return to take the next level?

Now might be the time for you to convert your Level 6 award to a Bachelors degree, or your Diploma to an honours degree, and gain that promotion at work.

Options for those wishing to study an honours degree include:

BA (Hons) International Hotel Management
BBS (Hons) International Tourism Management
BBS (Hons) Event Management with Public Relations
BA (Hons) Heritage Studies

All four options are delivered from September.

Recognition of prior learning
If you have relevant work experience, you may be eligible for ATU to recognise your prior learning in a formal process called Recognition of Prior Learning.

We can offer you full advice on this process.

Certificate in Culinary Arts (Springboard+ )

We have once again secured funding from Springboard+ to run the Certificate in Culinary Arts

You may be invited to interview with the Head of Department as part of the application process.
