Internet and Mobile Application Development

This module builds on the web development programming of Year 1 and expands to the development of applications using a client engine between the client and server.  It introduces the student to the technologies available to take advantage of web service applications with almost traditional desktop functionality.

1. understand the nature and need for Internet & mobile Applications.

2. Understand the limits of html and the need for a more interactive and dynamic interface for data presentation.

3. Use XML based languages along side other development languages to produce a feature rich application.
