Description

As an introduction to ancient and contemporary Ireland, this module will equip learners with insights into why there is such a strong presence of the past in Ireland and why this is one of our greatest assets. 

On successful completion of this module the learner should have been provided with a comprehensive overview of Irish history

and its place in European and world history. Learners should also be able to explain the fundamentals of social and political life in contemporary Ireland,

North and South.
