Mobile Applications Development 2

Description

This module is intended to broaden the student's knowledge of development in the mobile applications space.  This is a combination of theory behind the design and development of mobile applications and the practice of writing these applications using an appropriate development environment.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Appreciate of the broad spectrum of applications development for the mobile devices market.

  2. Understand the mechanisms of dynamic interaction on mobile devices including touch, swipe and basic gestures.

  3. Understand the principles of local and roaming storgae and their implementation for data storage and data binding.

  4. Specify, design and implement a distributed application on a mobile devices platform.

  5. Critically appraise the sensors available for mobile devices.
