What our Students Say

"After 5 yrs abroad, I came home (from London) after hearing about this course at GMIT. I had been working for two years as a qualified nurse before finding out about this Level 8 (add-on) degree. The course suits me well, as it is only one-day per week, which means I have plenty of time to work and study. The classes are small and intimate, and there are lots of supports for students. The lecturers are very approachable, and if you ask for help, nothing is too much for any of them. By topping up my qualification, I will have a wider range of nursing skills to offer, especially if I look for a job when I go abroad. The course fees and also very affordable compared to the other universities I had considered before I signed up with GMIT."

Orla Kenny. Graduate Nurse, Kingston University, London, UK.

"I highly recommend ths course to any Diploma Nurses eager to obtain their Honours Degree in Nursing. I was working full-time as an oncology nurse in the UK, but was eager to obtain an honours degree in nursing. So I researched my options and found GMIT. In comparison to other colleges, GMIT offered everything I was looking for. This add-on honours degree is a year long, requiring students to attend classes one day per week. This left me with plenty of time to work and study. The support I have received from my lecturers is of an extremley high standard. Financially, the course if very resonable, especially in comparison to Universities I had researched in the UK. This course is deffinetly worth doing, for any diploma nurses wishing to progress into a specialist role."

Natasha Carroll. Graduate Nurse, Kingston University, London, UK.
