Organisational Behaviour

Description

To provide students with a systematic and comprehensive understanding of current organisational behaviour theory, research and practice that will enable them to understand the complex workings of organisations from a behavioural perspective.

Learning Outcomes

  1. evince a broad knowledge and understanding of the interdisciplinary field of organisational behaviour, past and present;

  2. evince a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the organisation, the dynamics of organisational context and of organisational design;

  3. evince a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the group and social processes to be managed in organisations;

  4. select and apply social and psychological principles to the management of personal and group relationship issues that arise in a business organisational setting;

  5. analyse and evaluate the internal and external forces at work in managing the dynamics of diversity, organisational change and development.
