A 14-week period of practical and professional work experience with an employer, which is undertaken as part of the programme. It is intended to develop transferable and/or subject specific skills in a practical environment, to increase the student's awareness of the real opportunities and challenges of the work place, and thereby to increase their employability on graduation.

Demonstrate the development of vital skills, such as time-keeping, team-work, communication, management, receiving, executing and forwarding instructions and the technical skills required to implement the project/s on which they are involved.
