Production and Supervisory Management

This module covers general and operational management, including emerging areas such as lean management. 

1. Be capable of applying the principles of general and operational management

2. Demonstrate leadership in achieving organisational goals and objectives

3. Prioritise production activities based on business needs

4. Be able to apply the various models for process analysis and improvement

5. Have a knowledge of the methodology of process and production management and of its limitations

6. Develop and lead performing teams in the application of proven techniques in, planning, problem solving, communicating and decision making

7. Assist people through the process of change

8. Co-ordinate the generation and review of technical documentation
