Bachelor of Science in Web Technologies & Programming

Accelerated conversion degree programme for non-computing graduates (those holding at least a level 7 degree on the national framework of qualifications (NFQ)). 

The focus of this degree is on skills development in the area of new and emerging web technologies.

The modules studied provide detailed coverage on the writing, mark-up and coding involved in web and mobile development, including:

  • Web content
  • Rich web client
  • Server-side scripting

Higher Diploma in Science in Computing (Software Development) - ICT SKILLS/SPRINGBOARD+

A 12 or 18 month conversion course

  • If you come from a non-computing background and wish to convert to a Software Programmer role.
  • You can complete the course over 12 or 18 months. 
  • The course is fully ONLINE, with optional programming workshops once per month on a Friday evening.
  • Includes a 3-6 month placement in an IT related role, or a placement equivalent.
  • Up to 80% of those who completed this course in previous years obtained paid employment within three months of the course ending.
