Project

Students complete a major project in an area relevant to the programme.

1. Plan and organise a research project.

2.  Conduct a literature search and assemble the relevant background information.

3.  Organise the collection, processing and analysis of data.

4. Source scientific literature and access relevant information through the use of journals, books, abstracts, current contents, inter-library loans, the Internet, CD_ROM and other electronic media.

5. Selectively abstract and collate relevant information.

6. Design and undertake appropriate experimental work.

7. Perform statistical analysis of their results.

8. Deliver oral presentations.
