This module builds on Practice Development 2 and Practice Development 3. The learner will be encouraged to evidence skills, knowledge and competencies required of an 'Advanced' early years educator.
The learner will be required to carry out the research project in order to bring together a range of professional and practical skills related to planning, management, conducting and reporting independently.
Integrate the theory and practice in one area of early childhood education and care.
Critically evaluate a range of literature pertinent to a specialist area within the chosen field of study.
Identify and discuss a research methodology appropriate to the focus and context of the project
Critically examine and synthesise links between relevant theories and practice.
