Research Skills and Methodologies for Quantity Surveying 2

This module will enable the student to carry out appropriate data analysis on their chosen research topic and complete their dissertation document.

1. Research and write a comprehensive document explaining a complex area of study in a suitable format and communicate this to others in a verbal, written and graphical presentation.

2. Evaluate various methods of knowledge acquisition and select appropriate research methods.

3. Critically analyse data collected and assess its significance.

4. Synthesise results and offer appropriate conclusions and recommendations.

5. Demonstrate independent learning and thinking ability.

6. Demonstrate a systematic understanding of a specific area of study.
