Workplace Dissertation

This is a supervised research assignment to be conducted within a community or youth work setting.   The learner is required to identify an original project  idea, design and implement the research leading to a dissertation of approximately 10,000 words. 

1. Identify a potential issue or need within a community or youth work setting that may benefit from research 

2. Complete a research proposal including an ethical framework and outline of key literature informing the area of study

3. Design and implement a research project within a community or youth work setting 

4. Apply practical analytical skills to raw data to generate research findings and discussion 

5. Complete the dissertation and present the research
