Description

This module will examine the role of organisational culture and organisational behaviour in the management of people and achievement of organisational goals. There will be an emphasis on how people practices can impact positively on behaviour, culture, systems and structures in organisations.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Analyse the role of organisational culture and organisational behaviour in the management of people and achievement of organisational goals.

  2. Examine the importance of the individual’s contribution to the organisation and factors affecting behaviour and performance.

  3. Assess how people practices can impact positively on behaviour, culture, systems and structures in organisations, with particular reference to the need to transition to more sustainable business models.

  4. Analyse the internal and external factors at work in managing diversity, organisational change and sustainable development.
